Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah recently talked about coming face-to-face with Ironman franchise star Robert Downey, Jr. and his thoughts on the upcoming third flick.

According to Ghost, Downey acknowledged his rap moniker as hip-hop's "Tony Stark" when they met in-person.

"When I met Tony, I mean Robert Downey, he said, 'Yeah, I know you the real Tony Starks.' You know what I mean? I didn't even think he knew me! He came to me with that. You know what I mean? And I was like, 'Oh, sh*t.' I had to give him daps, give him a huge based on that sh*t." (MTV)

GFK also gave his take on the upcoming Iron Man 3 action thriller set to drop next year.

"It looks mean," GFK said in reaction to the high-action clip where actor Robert Downey Jr. sees his oceanfront mansion blown up and his collection of Iron Man super-hero suits destroyed. "It looked live though. They blew his house up right? That was his crib? It looks live though, it looks like it's gonna be some sh--," Ghost said. (MTV)

Last spring, comic book fanatic rapper XV told SOHH why Jay-Z reminds him the most of Iron Man.

"Jay-Z. You can't tell me Hov' isn't like Tony Stark. He makes power moves, he's rich as f*ck, you can't tell him anything, people love to hate him, he embodies all of the traits that Tony Stark has." (SOHH)

In summer 2011, Ghostface got hit with a legal lawsuit over sampling Iron Man without permission.

Ghostface Killah and Sony Music Entertainment are being sued by Hollywood composer Jack Urbont for illegally sampling his "Iron Man Theme," which was written for an animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character in the Sixties. The theme was used on two tracks from the Wu-Tang Clan rapper's 2000 album Supreme Clientele. It is unclear why Urbont's lawsuit has been filed over a decade since that album hit stores.
