[SOHH highlights a hot record each Tuesday and offers a unique look at the track in Singled Out. After D. Chamberz broke down his "Brooklyn Nets" visual, music hitmaker Avery Storm undresses his new "Tell Me" music video]
To be honest with you, I was in a relationship for quite some time and that was what really brought out the guitars playing, just to show people what I'm feeling.
A lot of times, with what I'm creating, I get with a bunch of musicians in the studio and my partner I'll have a few different people come into the studio and set the place up as one live jam session and just rock out.
That was during a time where it may have still been fresh on my subconscious. That song happened to born from what we were doing at that moment. It's about me talking about a relationship that I was in.
[Charli Baltimore's daughter], that's my homegirl. India [Christin] is just a really great person. She's just one of those really great humans. I really appreciate her for that and she said she would do this [music video] and when she said that, it was just exciting for both myself and her. It was a great thing to have on board and she's a great human being.
And she's beautiful.
The plan was to go with "Tell Me" first. I have another record coming up next to follow that and it's crazy. I'm really excited about that. To be honest with you, I really excited about this entire On the Line EP project. I have never been as excited about my music than right now and I've done some really amazing things.
This is just the most exciting time for me. I'm happy to be here and for the world to experience this.
