News: BREAKING: Kurupt's Ex-Girlfriend, Blaque Member Killed In Car Crash

R&B singer Natina Reed, most known for being a member of Blaque, reportedly died last night (October 26) after getting struck by a car in Georgia.
Details of her unexpected death surfaced online Saturday afternoon.
Natina Reed, a member of the 90s R&B group Blaque, was killed in Georgia last night after being struck by car. She was 32. According to the Gwinnett Police Department, the driver of the vehicle that hit Reed called 911 at 10:30 PM last night. She was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center 29 minutes later. A press release said that Reed "was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck." (TMZ)
The late Blaque member is also the ex-girlfriend of rap veteran Kurupt.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, but say the driver "was determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending." In addition to her singing career, Reed appeared in the 2000 film, "Bring It On." She was a protegé of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Reed is survived by her 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, whose father is rapper Kurupt. (TMZ)
Group members Shamari Fears-DeVoe and Brandi Williams have since issued a statement.

Because of the enormous support of Blaque fans and our love for each another, Blaque officially reunited this fall and we were in the process of working on a new album and a reality show. Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina's family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. The singer's Bring It On cast member Gabrielle Union has since reacted to the tragic news.
