New York rapper Tony Yayo has made an unexpected gesture this week by publicly shouting out former G-Unit member Young Buck as he serves out a multi-year jail bid.
Brief with his words, the "Talk of New York" acknowledged Buck Marley's current jail woes.
"Free G Money," Yayo tweeted September 17th afternoon.

Last month, G-Unit leader 50 Cent reacted to Buck getting handed an 18-month jail sentence.
"I think it's unfortunate. I don't wish that on nobody, having to sit in the joint. But I don't know how to respond in a nice way to blatant disrespect that was offered. I'm the kind of person that I don't let go of things easy, I'll be honest with you. If I'm the driving force behind why the situation is what it is, I'll accept it. But when I can't see what I've done to offer it, then I think that that was just a plan that didn't go right. If it went the way they wanted it to, there would still be no white flag. That goes across the board...even with my personal relationships with women. It's always people looking for what they want out of it." (XXL Mag)
A few months ago, Buck said he hoped to patch things up with the Unit.
"It's been a long time since I've had any kind of conversation with [Lloyd] Banks, [Tony] Yayo, 50 [Cent], anybody really through that camp over that way," Buck told DJ Whoo Kid in an interview. "It's been even a long time since I heard your voice to even have a conversation and we having it on air, live for the people. ... At the end of the day, we've made history and I would never not consider not being a chance for us to make history again if ever given the opportunity or chance. My thing is, at the end of the day, we only get older out here in this situation, in life, in itself and the older I became, the wiser I became at the same time." (Shade 45)
Back in 2009, Yayo talked about his ex-labelmate getting kicked out of 50 Cent's supergroup a year prior.
"Shout to Young Buck," Yayo began in an interview. "I wish you was with us, getting some money, living the life. When I see it, I feel a little sorry for him, because he could be taking the same advantages I'm taking. I just wish that the guy thought better or was a better businessman, instead of just being a good rapper. You being disgruntled towards 50, now what do you have? You could have been with us in Peru. We went to Switzerland, Istanbul, we went everywhere man. I'm too real for the industry. Even if I was disgruntled about anything, I wouldn't care, because I'm still getting money. Still got houses, still got cars, sprinklers still come out the ground. I think people get jealous of 50 of how big he is. You wake up, [New York City] Mayor Bloomberg is talking about 50. Then in the New York Post, he had two pages. Then he was on Fox 5 [New York] news because we're doing an event for the kids and grown-ups." (MTV)
