[In celebration of the NFL season beginning this week, SOHH is kicking things off with your favorite rappers boasting about their top teams. Today, Atlanta's T.I. and Mike Will Made It dish out support for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick and big up their home town Falcons.]
Mike Vick is a personal partner of mine and I'm a fan of him as a football player. I'm really a fan of him as a football player so I think he needs to stay healthy, stay in the pocket. Actually, Vick is a talented individual and so he has the option of staying in pocket and making the plays or figuring out the appropriate time to get the f*ck outta the pocket.
As long as he continues to play and stay healthy, stick around the people that are going to go hard for him that can keep [opponents] off his back, I think they've got a great chance [to go far].
If we're talking about players, individually, I'm going to pull for Vick but if we're talking about team-wise, then I'm going to have to go with the home team [Atlanta Falcons]. -T.I.
I was a big Falcons fan when we had [Jamal Anderson]. After Dirty Bird, I was a big Falcons fan when we had Vick. But pretty much now, I wouldn't say that I'm a big Falcons fan. I always support the home team, so sh*t, hopefully we can get us a good team going [this year] and start taking this sh*t back over man.
[When game day comes around], we got the big screen TV at the crib so we'll get a couple of bottles and order some food, have friends, pretty girls and all that come over and just watch the game like that. But if we do go to the game, that's always love too. But like I said, I haven't really been a crazy Falcons fan lately.
When we do get that team, we probably will get us a nice little seat at the game and check it out. -Mike Will Made It
