Grammy-winning singer Rihanna recently revealed which New York team has her support heading into the 2012-2013 NBA season, either the New York Knicks or Brooklyn Nets.

Although the Knicks have stars like Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire, RiRi is rolling with Brooklyn Nets minority owner Jay-Z's squad.

Sorry, Knicks -- Rihanna has switched sides! At the star-studded opening of Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in the billion-dollar Barclays Center, the "We Found Love Singer" revealed her loyalties are now in Brooklyn. With her mentor's Brooklyn Nets. "I have to support the Nets, they're part of my clique!" she told Confidenti@l Thursday night. Rihanna, who hours earlier flew in from London, looked stunning, as always, in a pajama-style, currency-inspired Acne Studios ensemble. (NY Daily News)

The Brooklyn Nets uniforms prematurely leaked online earlier in the week.

With NBA 2K13 hitting the shelves Tuesday, is it possible that the game may have released images of the new Brooklyn Nets jerseys a little early? The home jerseys look to have been leaked a day early, and as you can tell by the trailer, they seemed to have gone public at the 2K13 launch party. Check out the opening footage for a look at the new gear. What do you guys think of the new threads? (Complex)

Recently, Knicks star Carmelo Anthony applauded G-Unit's Lloyd Banks' latest mixtape.

Carmelo Anthony NY Knicks star & two-time Olympic gold medal winner -- took time out to congratulate Lloyd Banks for the platinum success of his latest mixtape, V6. "Big shout-out to the homie Lloyd [Banks] for going platinum on V6. Holla at your boy." (HHRFD)

Last spring, New York rapper N.O.R.E. revealed his loyalty to the Knicks.

"I haven't been a New York Knicks fan in so long. I've always been a Knicks fan and I've always slandered them but with Carmelo Anthony being black and Puerto Rican, I have to roll with them again," N.O.R.E. told SOHH. I'm so glad I stuck to rolling with them because they're looking good and we have Amar'e back. I'm not agreeing with the braids but it's all good. We need Jeremy Lin coming off the bench. Steve Novak has been looking fantastic. Steve Novak's the new Larry Bird. Iman Shumpert, we're doing fantastic. I don't want the Bulls or the Heat in the first round -- I'm not saying we can't pull it off, I'm just saying it's very skeptical because the reason those guys have been having a great season and we don't want to be the backdrop to their great season. We want to be the ending to the Heal and Bulls' phenomenal season." (SOHH)
