[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Cassidy gave himself the title last week, former "Love & Hip Hop" star Erica Mena crowns Cory Gunz SOHH Underrated.]

I have two picks for SOHH Underrated. Right now, as far as rappers are concerned, I think Cory Gunz is amazing. I just think he's lyrically f*cking insane.
And then for R&B, Melanie Fiona, for right now. Her music is incredible. I think she's extremely beautiful and she can sing like no other. I think she should be on the level of Alicia Keys. I really do think that. Melanie Fiona is just phenomenal.
Those are my two favorites that I think are underrated and don't really get all the attention they should get.
I guess you could say Cory Gunz is the Big Pun from my era. But no, no, like I said, I think lyrically, he's insane.
I've always been a fan of him and think he's underrated as an artist. He's freaking nuts. It just so happens that yes, he's from the Bronx.
I absolutely think [him being with Young Money] will help, I just think his lyrical skills are out there and people need to see more of him. I just really think he's dope.
You can see the things he's done with Lil Wayne and his lyrics are insane. He's that lyrical type of artist and that's why I love him so much.
Erica has starred on the top rated hit show "Kourtney & Khloe take Miami" Season 1 which premiered on E!. You can also see her star in the second season of "LOVE & HIP HOP 2? ON VH1. She has landed many coveted principal roles in major music videos, which has officially put her on the radar of every household in America. She was featured in "I'm So Paid" the new chart topper by Akon featuring Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne. You can catch her being seduced by Chris Brown in "YO (Excuse Me Miss)", riding shotgun to Fabolous in "Breathe" and shopping with Bobby Valentino in "Tell Me." She can be seen alongside Fat Joe in "Lean Back" and in David Banner's "Touching."
