[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After the Ying Yang Twins got quirky with their fave five, Atlanta's Lil Scrappy busts out his top choices.]
Lil Wayne. I put Wayne on there because he makes the rap game exciting. He makes it fun again where you feel like you don't just want to make gangster music or dope boy music. He wants to make whatever. When you listen to him, he makes it an open playing field.
Lil Scrappy. I bring the energy to the game. I'm still working on the lyrical part but I'm definitely bringing that energy. That's why I would put myself in there. Sometimes you can't live for the lyrics, that sh*t'll get boring.
Rick Ross. Every song he does and every time he speaks, it's like a movie. So I like how he's entertaining.
Andre 3000. Three Stacks just puts out that lyrical ATL flow. He got that hardcore, straight outta Atlanta flow. It's natural. I like him because it's natural.
Lupe Fiasco. I have Lupe in there because there's feeling in it. There's really feeling in what he does. He actualy has a lot of heart. He has a lot of heart for the records and heart for life. So I respect him for that.
