G-Unit's Lloyd Banks appears to be back in grind mode after hinting at plans to possibly drop a follow-up to 2008's Halloween Havoc mixtape just weeks away from October 31st.

The elusive Unit member took to Twitter and appeared to ask his 501,000 followers for their opinion on a sequel.

"halloween havoc 2?," Banks tweeted September 17th.
"this Gangsta Grillz is crazy!! coming sooner than u think!!" (Lloyd Banks' Twitter)

New York Knicks' star Carmelo Anthony recently gave Banks props for his new V6 mixtape's success.

Carmelo Anthony NY Knicks star & two-time Olympic gold medal winner -- took time out to congratulate Lloyd Banks for the platinum success of his latest mixtape, V6. "Big shout-out to the homie Lloyd [Banks] for going platinum on V6. Holla at your boy." (HHRFD)

Despite the success, G-Unit leader 50 Cent recently downplayed Banks' V6 release.

"Dropping mixtapes...that was my '02 strategy. That's 2002 marketing. That's old. You did nothing if you did that. Look what I've done with The Lost Tape or The Big 10. There's videos for everything that was on the tapes. If you're going to just wing it and drop a mixtape...pick the highlights that people like most and shoot 'em. Go shoot the video." (XXL Mag)

Back in 2010, Lloyd revealed his slight disinterest in dropping new mixtapes.

"Well Whoo Kid, he's on like, he's suspended right now, at the moment," Banks said in an interview. "I made that guy so much money and did so many mixtapes with him. I put out five mixtapes in a year. He's been hitting me lately because he knows I'm getting ready to drop, so he's pressing me for a mixtape but I don't know man. I know I'm gonna scatter material out so they're gonna be hearing freestyle material on radio shows, the Internet, sprinkling it all around. But as far as a whole body of work on a mixtape, I don't know if they gonna get one. I mean, we'll see how things go but I never stop working on that underground material because it gives me the advantage to speak on current events. Who knows, somebody could speak on Banks tomorrow and something would be out by Friday." (Civilized Talk)
