Rap veteran Coolio's 22 year-old son has reportedly been sentenced to at least three years behind bars with the possibility of getting a total of ten for a November 2011 robbery.
Details of the sentencing surfaced early Thursday (September 13) morning.
Coolio's son Grtis Ivey -- who appeared on the family reality show "Coolio's Rules" -- has just been sentenced to prison for robbing an apartment in Vegas with a lady hooker friend ... and he could be locked up for 10 YEARS. A rep for the Clark County District Attorney's office tells TMZ, 22-year-old Grtis was sentenced to serve between 42-120 months in prison -- meaning he has to serve at LEAST 42 months ... but if the Nevada Department of Corrections finds good reason, it can hold him for up to 10 years. The crime comes nearly a year after Grtis got locked up for the Las Vegas robbery.
As we first reported, Ivey was arrested on November 14, 2011 for busting into a Las Vegas apartment with a gun and forcing the tenant into the bathroom ... while his female prostitute friend ransacked the place. Ivey agreed to plead guilty to felony robbery -- and in exchange, prosecutors dropped the remaining felony charges. Ivey has been in custody since his arrest and will receive credit for time served. Prior to yesterday's sentencing, the rap veteran's son remained behind bars since mid-November 2011.

Coolio, known for his own run-ins with the law, had a $10,000 bench warrant issued for his arrest dating back to 2010.
Rapper Coolio has escaped arrest after turning up for a court hearing on Tuesday - a day after a Los Angeles judge issued a bench warrant to have him detained. However, after showing up for the hearing on Tuesday, Coolio - real name Artis Leon Ivey, Jr. - escaped further action by proving he had adhered to the terms of his probation, including a drug rehab program. The hip-hop star is due back in court on January 18, 2011 for his next progress report. (Canoe News)
