Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross explains his love for marijuana and why he is standing behind freedom of speech, right or wrong, in the new Rolling Stone.
Based on a few excerpts, Ricky Rozay admits he has a passion for smoking weed.
Ross suggests that the seizures he suffered late last year were probably the result of smoking too much weed: "I'm most definitely an avid user, a pothead, however you want to look at it. I call it green caviar. It's like a short vacation - it helps me chill out. And people really love it when I chill out, because I can really be a dickhead." Ross favors freedom of speech - all kinds: "Chick-fil-A obviously took their stand. That's their right - the same way the pro-gay people are taking their stand. I believe everybody got the right to live their own life the way they want to." So does that mean he'd support a Chick-fil-A boycott? "Naw. I love that spicy chicken." (Rolling Stone)
Recently husky rapper Action Bronson delved into his own love for marijuana.
"A lot. I mean, I smoked an ounce. I'm a confident weed smoker. I've been smoking a lot for so long that I'm just functional," Bronson said in an interview when asked about how much he smokes weed. "[My favorite kind is] some kush. Some good kush. O.G." (Miami New Times)
Bronson is also working on his own marijuana-based cookbook.
Queens rapper Action Bronson has a rather unique new project in the works. While appearing on this week's "Food Is The New Rock" podcast, Action Bronson revealed plans to combine his two loves: cooking and marijuana. Bronson, who worked as a gourmet chef before beginning his music career, claims that the project is "very serious" and "already in the works." The proposed volume would be "very visual, a coffee table book, with recipes here and there." No word yet on the book's title or release date. (Complex)
Despite his connection to the sticky green, Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa recently admitted his fianceé Amber Rose does not get high.
"It's gonna be as traditional as possible, but I like that word far out too [for our wedding]. It's gonna be a far out wedding. We can't do it too normal. There'll be like a giraffe or something," Khalifa said. "[Weed smoking?] She's like, 'Get it away.' She doesn't hate it, but she will not do it. She'll roll it, she loves how it smells... She just doesn't want to get high 'cause she don't want to feel that." (Hot 97)
