Former Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek recently discussed his relationship with ex-labelmates like Beanie Sigel and said despite the media gossip, the Roc bond is forever.

Bleek said he has tried to speak to Sigel but realizes the rapper is also preparing for an upcoming two-year jail sentence.

"I speak to Young Chris, I speak to Freeway here and there," Bleek revealed on "RapFix Live." "I was in touch with Neef Buck not too long ago. I tried to reach out to [Beanie Sigel], but you know Beans got a lot of personal things he's dealing with. But at the end of the day, I'ma say it and you hear the words from my mouth: Them is all my dudes. No matter what went down, we fam. We came up together. It's almost like a cousin. You and your cousin can fight, but at the end of the day, y'all still family." (MTV)

The Brooklyn rap veteran also discussed his status with former bosses Dame Dash and Biggs.

"Dame is still cool. I seen him out in London not too long ago," Bleek said. "They put a video out on the Internet about us meeting. Dame has always been a good dude to me, man. He helped me a lot, like I said. ... So I could never say nothing wrong. Things just happen in life where certain people just go their certain way. I had no control over that. I was still a pup. ... Biggs is cool. I don't know whatever happened with his legal situation, but Biggs is my dude. Biggs has always been behind-the-scenes, quiet man." (MTV)

Sigel recently talked to SOHH about his upcoming jail bid on a tax evasion conviction.

"I'm taking it one day at a time, another day above ground, you know," Sigel told SOHH when asked how he is handling the forthcoming jail bid. "I'm good. [I'm trying to do] everything. I'm an artist. So I'm doing both [working and spending family time.] I'm doing everything I can do to push this [new This Time] album and spend as much time as I can with my family at the same time." (SOHH)

In June, Biggs received a five-year jail sentence for his role in a drug case.

AN EX-PAL of rapper Jay-Z was sentenced Monday to five years in prison for conspiring to distribute more than 100 kilos of marijuana. Kareem (Biggs) Burke, 38, was snared in a federal drug sting called "Operation Green Venom," which targeted a trafficking ring that controlled most of the wholesale pot market in the city. More than 50 people were arrested. Burke told Manhattan Federal Court Judge Loretta Swain that she would never see him again in court. "Nothing personal, but I'm going to keep you to that promise," Swain said. Burke co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records with Jay-Z and Damon Dash in the 1990s. The trio parted ways in 2004.
