[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After Tha Bizness revealed their fave five, Hot 97 radio personality Cipha Sounds chucks out his top choices.]
Outkast. The problem with Big Boi, I told this to his face, the problem with Big Boi is that he's a f*cking dope rapper, incredible rapper, in a group with the best rapper. So no matter what, he gets the short end of the stick. But that motherf*cker can rhyme his a** off. He's just in a group with someone who can rhyme a little better. It's a f*cked up situation. Outkast.
T.I. I think T.I. is incredible and doesn't get the credit he deserves. It's probably his music choice.
Rick Ross. I like Ross because again, he's the type that, he's making music that fits right now incredibly, but he's also one that I feel clicked down his rap skills to feed the masses, where I know he could f*cking really rap and write some sh*t and his albums show it, it's just that his singles are just club bangers. But his albums, he'll have some deep f*cking real songs. Boom.
