With Young Buck serving time behind bars on a gun possession conviction, Southern rapper Lil Wyte recently talked to SOHH about the fellow Memphis emcee's legal crunch.
Asked for a reaction to his "All Kinda Drugs" collaborator's woes, Wyte had nothing but positive things to say about Buck.
"I definitely sent out a tweet on Twitter," Wyte told SOHH when asked about showing Buck support prior to beginning his jail bid. "I sent a tweet out to him on Twitter, Buck is one of the realest people I've ever met in my life. I've met a lot of people. Anyone DJ Paul introduces me to, [I remember he was like,] 'Yo, this is my brother Buck. He's good people.' I think anybody that's a real motherf*cker like that know real motherf*ckers always bounce back. That's my brother, straight up. I salute you. I've got your back no matter what goes down. It's nothing but family over here and he's got a lot of sh*t going on, so shout-out to Buck, man. He's a real motherf*cker. That's all I got to say about that. That's like a family member, bro." A couple weeks ago, 50 Cent reacted to the former G-Unit member's 18-month jail bid.
"I think it's unfortunate. I don't wish that on nobody, having to sit in the joint. But I don't know how to respond in a nice way to blatant disrespect that was offered. I'm the kind of person that I don't let go of things easy, I'll be honest with you. If I'm the driving force behind why the situation is what it is, I'll accept it. But when I can't see what I've done to offer it, then I think that that was just a plan that didn't go right. If it went the way they wanted it to, there would still be no white flag. That goes across the board...even with my personal relationships with women. It's always people looking for what they want out of it." (XXL Mag)
Young Buck officially turned himself into a Mississippi jail earlier this month.
Young Buck is back in prison ... TMZ has learned the former G-Unit rapper has officially begun his 18-month sentence for gun possession. Sources connected to the rapper tell us ... moments ago, Buck checked into Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Southern Mississippi. As we previously reported, federal agents recovered multiple guns in Buck's home during a 2010 raid. At the time, he was prohibited from possessing any sort of firearm because he was already a convicted felon. (TMZ)
The Nashville, Tennessee rapper recently reflected on getting hit with jail time.
"I've always felt the things you go through in life, it make you exactly who you are," Buck said in an interview. "I've had some rough times, I've been fighting the bankruptcy situation as well as the court situations but, um, I will say far as David, my pride is through the roof. My head is held high and I'm just looking to get all this behind me. I can sit here all day and go about how I feel I was wrongfully mistreated in certain different areas, but the fact of the matter remains -- certain things I've been held accountable for, I've just got to handle it. I appreciate all the support -- I think that, um, for the most part, I've never really had a real lengthy criminal history. So I think with the judge not really considering my criminal history, to subtract the time, I'm just thankful for what time I do have being that I don't want to do no time but it could have been a lot worser that what it actually is. At this point, man, I'm just trying to move forward, put everything behind me, thank-you to everybody out there that's supporting Young Buck and I appreciate the love." (Back On My Bucksh*t)
