[In light of professional skateboarder Stevie Williams recently heading overseas to promote his new S1W sneaker, the sports veteran gives SOHH readers an idea of how he makes use of time away from the USA.]
I'm going off to Spain, Germany and France. I'm going to be out there repping the S1W shoes.
There ain't no danger with my being out there and skating. When I'm out there, I'm just having fun skating with the kids. I'm just hanging out with the kids and I try to find out the different aspects of different cultures in different places.
For me, I've been doing this for so long and I've been doing this since I was so young that a lot of this stuff right now is starting to be real educational to me. I'm not going somewhere like Spain, Germany or France and taking it for granted by not learning or paying attention.
These days, I try to find more educational aspects to what's out there and find better things to do with my time.
I don't know, every trip is different but I always plan to stay safe and do my thing while I'm out there.
