Late hip-hop artist Nate Dogg's estate is reportedly valued at $200,000 and will be divided amongst his six children.
According to reports, the actual amount would be more, however, he owed $150,000 on a California home.
Rapper Nate Dogg had 6 kids, no will, and $200,000 in real estate to his name when he died last year ... and now a lawyer's been named to divvy up his assets. In probate documents filed yesterday in L.A. County Superior Court ... Nate's home in Pomona, CA is valued at $350,000 -- but he still owed $150,000. The documents also list his six children -- 4 daughters, 2 boys -- who will inherit his estate ... which may include much more cash than the $200k. Nate's earnings from his music catalog will ultimately be added to the pot. According to the docs, attorney Alex Borden has been nominated -- by one of Nate's daughters and the mother of one of his boys -- to handle his affairs. (TMZ)
West Coast rapper YG spoke to SOHH last year about his connection to one of Nate Dogg's sons.
"I'm a big fan of Nate Dogg," YG told SOHH. "Nate Dogg's son is like my little brother's homeboy, we're cool. So I'm gonna do something for him and when he passed away, I tweeted, "Rest In Peace Nate Dogg" a couple times and everybody re-tweeted it. I grew up listening to Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg, the whole 213. Nate Dogg is a f*cking legend. And that sh*t is f*cked up but it's life. I've known Nate's son for about two years or so. I used to stay in these apartments out in Long Beach and his son used to stay out over there. He was real cool with my little brother. So I've known him for about two years." (SOHH)
