Wu-Tang is for the children, but Flava Flav is for the funny. The Public Enemy hypeman and former reality star dodged some jail time after recently coughing up 25 racks to the mother of one of his nearly 9 million children.

On top of shelling out the huge child support check, Flav agreed to pay a lil' sumthin sumthin' once a month from here on out.

ALBANY -- Clock-wearing rapper Flavor Flav spared himself some jail time Tuesday by paying $25,000 in back child support to the mother of three of his children. The Public Enemy star -- whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. -- also agreed to pay an additional $1,200 a month to Mary Parker of Albany to help reduce his debt. Drayton owed more than $111,186 and faced a 180-day jail sentence for what was deemed a "willful violation" of his child support agreement, which calls for weekly payments of $837.72 to Parker. Despite the huge clock around his neck, Drayton arrived 20 minutes late for his court hearing. (NY Daily News)

In other news ... after Weezy publicly announced that he has no further issue with Pusha T there are reports that the Young Money front man is looking to squash any existing issues between his artist Drake and singer Chris Brown.

Lil Wayne and other rappers are urging Drake to end his feud with Chris Brown, it has been reported. The hip-hop star is said to have called the Take Care singer to try and convince him to extend an olive branch to Brown after their club brawl last week. According to TMZ, Lil Wayne is worried their differences will affect business, as both artists regularly work with his Young Money label. (Belfast Telegraph)

TMZ reports that Weezy is thinking green, or at least the loss of green, as the ongoing tension between Drizzy and Breezy might make it difficult to secure future collaborations with the "Look at Me Now" singer.

Other members of the rapper's crew are also said to have been in touch with Drake to try and smooth over the situation. "Sources tell us, Wayne and co. are worried the rift will affect business - since Brown appears on several tracks with Young Money members and, pure and simple, Brown = hits," TMZ writes. "We're told Drake doesn't want to reach out to Breezy [Chris Brown] until he knows CB doesn't actually blame him for last week's melee. We're told Young Money's on Drake's side no matter what - but as one source put it, 'Making money matters most.'"(Belfast Telegraph)

SOHH Watcha Think: Weezy was able to pull Nicki from her schedule Summer Jam appearance, can the martian end the catfight between these two artists?
