Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West showed he does not like his concerts interrupted by fans as seen in new footage of Yeezy going off on a concertgoer at this past weekend's Watch the Throne concert in France.
Footage of what exactly went down at his Paris show surfaced online this week.
Warning: Use of laser lights at a Kanye West concert will result in Kanye embarrassing the crap out of you, and shouting, "You gonna get f**ked up!" One fan at Kanye and Jay-Z's "Watch the Throne" show learned that lesson the hard way last night in Paris. When the guy flashed some sort of pen laser onstage ... Yeezy shut down the show and shouted, "You see this guy right here with the green laser? Don't f**k up everybody's show ... it's not a f**king game!" The crowd rained down boos (en français, of course) -- then Kanye went in on the dude a little more ... "You gonna get f**ked up, kicked out, and all that s**t. Chill the f**k out." Pardon Kanye's french. (TMZ)
Last year, Mr. West had another run-in with a concertgoer over a performance-stopping incident.
A business card. That's the reason that rapper Kanye West had a fan ejected from one of his gigs in Washington. Turns out the offending piece of paper could be an instrument of certain death, at least in West's opinion. The Sun reports that Yeezy went nuts when a business card was thrown on stage while he was performing. He was so incensed that he threatened to have the entire section from which the card was thrown ejected. 'Ye even said that the act of tossing the biz card on stage was life-threatening! That's a little extreme, isn't it? West allegedly swiped the card from the ground and asked, "Who's card is this? We risking our lives up here. You can't go throwing s-- that we gonna slip on." While we're a bit more inclined to think that commercial fisherman and Navy SEALS are risking their lives in their occupations, we've never heard of death-by-business-card, either. (Pop Crush)
Aside from the Paris incident, a slew of celebrities attended Ye and Jay-Z's show.
Jay-Z and Kanye West have had plenty of celebrity-filled crowds during the U.S. stops on their Watch the Throne tour, but for international shows The Throne are kicking things up a notch. They touched down in Paris Friday night, performing while Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Rowland, Justin Bieber and Spike Lee looked on, and "N---as in Paris" producer Hit-Boy crowd surfed and became the second guest to ever join them on stage. Beyonce was absent from The Throne's London shows (while she was prepping for her four blowout performances at Revel in Atlantic City, we assume) but she made it to Paris where she hung with her girls Gwyneth and Kelly, cheering her husband on. The Throne hyped up the show by performing their "N*ggas In Paris" anthem 11 times.
After the 10th repetition, Kanye took the mic, "Amazing. That was 10 right? You just tied the record Paris. Let me explain something to y'all. Rap music, rock music, stadium music, arena music--nobody does a song more than 10 times. I don't care who you are, I don't care which stadium you're rocking in. Try to do your song more than three times and see what happen!" Then the crowd counted down--10, 9, 8...2, 1, Again! Jigga's voice resonated in the venue, and Paris rocked the song one last time with love. "Paris you have officially the record of the Watch The Throne tour" screamed Jay. "It's just different," Ye concluded. "I love this city" And clearly the city loved them too. (Complex)
