News: Judge Denies House Arrest For Money Mayweather: "Where Did He Think He Was Going? The Four Seasons?"

Mayweather's lawyer, Richard Wright, suggested several modifications to his client's sentence, the most important among them: house arrest. The boxer's counsel filed a motion to move him either into the general population or back to his palatial estate.
Mayweather's legal team told the court this week that his personal physician, Dr. Robert Voy, visited the jail Friday and determined the fighter had lost muscle tone. Voy estimated Mayweather was consuming fewer than 800 calories a day instead of his usual 3,000 or 4,000 calories. Mayweather also wasn't drinking enough because he wasn't allowed bottled water and doesn't enjoy tap water. (Associated Press)
The incredulous judge, Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa, rebuffed their requests, claiming:
... that water has been made available to Mayweather around the clock and the only reason he isn't eating properly is because he refuses to eat the provided meals. (Associated Press)
Prosecutor Lisa Luzaich also mocked Mayweather's maladjustment, complaining that he had unrealistic expectations for his domestic battery punishment.

Mayweather turned himself in last Friday (June 2) in a bid to cooperate with authorities.
