[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Young Money's Shanell aka SNL named Ryan Leslie last week, The Bangerz's Cutso crowns AZ SOHH Underrated.]

Let me see. There are so many. I think one of them is definitely AZ. I mean people give him his props but he kind of stomped onto the scene with that "Life's A B*tch." He killed that sh*t.

Then he came out with a hip-hop quotable in The Source, "Rather Unique," off his first album Doe or Die. It's a Pete Rock track, look it up, he f*cking killed that. It's like one of the greatest verses ever written in hip-hop in my opinion. It's bold but just listen to the lyrics. It's so crazy. The whole song is insane.

"Life's A B*tch" was my favorite song off Nas' Illmatic when it first came out. That song and "One Love." But "Life's A B*tch" in particular but all of the songs on there were super rugged and super hard and that was the smoothed-out type, classy, getting-paid track.

But it's funny because the hook is so reckless. "Life's a b*tch and then you die, that's why we get high, 'cause you never know when you're gonna go." That's so ingenious.

He was sharp. He was really sharp with it. I just felt like he was just so smooth and sharp. You could almost hear influences of Juice Crew and Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. It was like the gangster-nice guy type of role. It was kind of like an endearing role. I feel like AZ, character-wise, skill-wise, and personality-wise, he was kind of a good complete package.
