West Coast rapper Game has offered his two cents on tensions allegedly brewing between Chris Brown and Drake, saying both artists should put their differences aside.
Having collaborated with both artists, Game said Drizzy and Breezy should avoid letting violence control their relationship.
The Game knows a thing or two about celebrity feuds ... and last night, the rapper had some advice for Chris Brown and Drake -- squash that beef, ASAP. Game was leaving Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood when we asked about the bottle-throwing brawl in NYC. "Chris Brown is like my little brother, man ... and Drake is a cool dude ... they just need to cut that out. It ain't worth it." Game should know ... he famously feuded with 50 Cent and G-Unit for years. But the rapper says he's not in any hurry to help broker a peace treaty between his two friends -- telling us, "I'm gonna stay out of their beef ... it's for the birds." (TMZ)
The Wednesday (June 13) night scuffle also sparked a reaction out of Atlanta rapper Roscoe Dash.
"All imma say is jumping niggas and swinging bottles over a woman who doesn't belong to ANYBODY!!! Aynt gangsta at all!.. no points given," he tweeted June 14th.
"I gotta say Lost alota respect for @drake & @meekmill out of all the niggas who Dnt like yall y'all chose to retaliate against @chrisbrown"
"Just voicing my opinion there's wayyy more important shit to start fight abt than features and women #thatisall"
"Now everybody's mad too bad idgaf but for the record I Dnt have a prob with @drake or @meekmill I just can't support sucka sh*t..." (Roscoe Dash's Twitter)
To make matters more confusing, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill is also reportedly involved in what went down.
25-year-old Meek Mill, who was seen hanging with Drake before the brawl broke out at club W.I.P. in New York City early Thursday morning, is responsible for Brown's injury. Although the exact grounds and causes of the altercation remain unknown, pop star Rihanna is believed to be the root reason for tension between Drake and Brown. Both artists have previously dated the leading lady. (Philly)
Some reports claim Drake ignited tensions by throwing up his middle finger at Brown.
It looks like last night's wild fight between Chris Brown and Drake was, in fact, about the former's ex and the latter's rumored hookup, Rihanna. Imagine that. Sources also indicate that while Drake's telling the truth when he says he wasn't involved physically in the epic melee that ensued, he definitely stirred the pot. Drake gave Brown the middle finger, engaged in some serious trash talk, and recruited several other rappers to join his posse before the brawl, witnesses say. (The Hollywood Gossip)
