[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After White House Band's David E. Beats unloads his fave five, fresh off of dropping his latest single, "Mirror," featuring Lil' Wayne, ATL crooner Bobby V. reveals his Top 5, Dead or Alive.]
Andre 3000. Man Dre ... he the illest to me. He can rap with the best of 'em, he got crazy style and he from Atlanta and I really came up during the Outkast era. They were the ones that really put Atlanta on the map. Even though he been around forever, he'll give us a verse that's so classic. Definitely 3000.
Lil' Wayne. For sure. Wayne got it. He got it figured out.
Drake. Drake definitely, I'm a big Drake fan. I love how he does his analogies and eveything the different subjects he can touch on. He kinda does, R&B, too. I'm waitin' on that Drake and Bobby V. record, man [laughs]. That'd be so crazy.
Rick Ross. I gotta put Ross in there, too. Rozay be spittin'. I'mma tell you straight up: Everybody I named are geniuses, even though all of 'em kinda a little weird, too. Not to me, but to most people. I love when Ross rap because you can always hear that hunger and you can always hear that passion.
Kanye West. 'Ye is a musical genius. He got all the style the creativity ... he got bars, he's the ultimate entertainer. The same thing with 3000. He's left field a little bit, but can rap his a** off and that's the same thing with Wayne and Drake.
