Social media can be a gift or a curse to an artist depending on their bath salt level. For example, Beyonce used her Tumblr power for good this week, while Canibud used his to confirm once and for all that he is insane.

You just knew Hov and B couldn't name there daughter some regular sh*t like Keisha. So while many have spent months pondering the exact meaning of the name, the singer made a recent post on her Tumblr page that may give a few clues on why they decided to rock with the name Blue Ivy as opposed to the name I suggested, Sha'beyonce.

Beyonce has revealed what could be some of the inspiration behind daughter Blue Ivy Carter's unique name. On Monday, Beyonce took to her Tumblr page to post a poem about "blue," and sources at BET believe the poem might have served as the inspiration behind her daughter's name. "The world is blue at its edges and in its depths," reads the passage from Rebecca Solnit's "Field Guide to Getting Lost."(FansShare)

Check out a bit of the poem B posted online earlier this week:

"This blue is the light that got lost. Light at the blue end of the spectrum does not travel that whole distance from the sun to us. It disperses among the molecules of air, it scatters in the water. Water is colorless, shallow water appears to be the color of whatever lies underneath it, but deep water is full of this scattered light, the purer the water the deeper the blue."(Rebecca Solnit's "Field Guide to Getting Lost")

In other news ... if dead rappers get the best promotion, crazy rappers get the second best. The irony is, a crazy rapper can get all the promotion in the world but that ain't gonna mean a thing at the record store because ... well, they crazy. Earlier this week, I asked if Canibus had hit Super Saiyan-levels of psycho after his stunt at the KOTD Battle. I truly believed that he could not outdo himself with that sh*t -- I was wrong. Bis recently offered an explanation for what happened at prior to the battle in a story that would make a great script for Enemy of the State II.

A few days before the KOTD Vendetta event, I was abducted by human blood sucking leeches who did not make their identity known, but I assume were agents of the dark world. While in my vehicle ready to pay for a toll, a helicopter attached with a satellite device that promotes fear flew directly over me. Upon being aware of what was happening I decided to escape on foot and flee from this radioactive device that can cause mental and emotional harm to any man- Even a man who possesses the brain waves of a complicated degree such as myself. As I abandoned my vehicle, I got to a fence and as I climbed underneath, the helicopter got visual contact on its target and there was nothing I could do. (Canibus Tumblr)

There's more. A lot more, but d*mnit, the sh*t just gets more and more crazy. I can't tell if homie been hacked, or took a mouthful of bathsalt and hopped on the internet. SOHH Watcha Think: Is this just a prank Bis is playing or has the once-great battle rapper gone batsh*t crazy?
