New York radio station Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" hosts Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy are not going out without a fight and have lashed back at disses fired their way from Funkmaster Flex.
Angela Yee waved off the feud hype, even thanking Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg who acknowledged her previous work alongside former Shade 45 radio co-host Cipha Sounds.
"Who can be angry on a beautiful Saturday evening before the game and the fight? Not me," she tweeted.
"@bunyan71 @shade45 and I'm forever grateful to you! It changed my life"
"how about make drinks not war! RT "@bunyan71: @angelayee make babies not war.... Or something!"" (Angela Yee's Twitter)
DJ Envy also kept his composure by warning Flex about the consequence of his accusations.
"For every 10 lies you tell I have 1 truth....Stay Tuned.... (Insert evil laugh here)," he tweeted Saturday. (DJ Envy's Twitter)
Rather than use Twitter to unload on Flex, Charlamagne promised his full response would come tomorrow (June 11).
"LMAO. Grandfather Flex is angry as sh*t right now......," he tweeted.
"It's Basketball and Boxing on tonight Grandad. We not interested in the WWE. Get back to you on Monday. @funkmasterflex"
"@jimjonescapo He talking about me. I got old head losing it...."
"I just don't believe Grandfather Flex @funkmasterflex gives a f*ck less than I do. He has to show me...." (Charlamagne Tha God's Twitter)
Saturday night, Funk Flex took his fury to the radio airwaves going at the entire "Breakfast Club" hosts.
"Yo, you're taking such a beating out here. All three of y'all are out here getting robbed," Flex boasted on his Saturday night Hot 97 radio show. "Retweet that! Man, I can't get that many records on, I'm so hyped. [plays 'How 2 Rob'] Oh, you thought I was going to play games this week? That's what you thought? That's what you thought, right? You thought people were scared of y'all? Summer Jam is going to be what turned your lights off. Three robbery victims, New York. I want you to know that you are witnessing frauds. Okay? These frauds are on the radio and Twitter talking tough but they're getting robbed, at finger point. I'm just telling you what they're saying, man." (Hot 97)
