President Barack Obama may have to keep First Lady Michelle Obama close by these days as New York rap veteran Nas has shown an attraction to the "most beautiful" woman alive.
Acknowledging her role as First Lady, Nas said Mrs. Obama's sincerity lures him in.
"Michelle Obama is the most beautiful woman on the planet," Nas said in an interview. "She cares about people. All first ladies have their jobs to do, but you can feel her sincerity." (Complex)
Not only impressive to Nasty Nas, Grammy-winning singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter recently penned an open letter to the First Lady.
"Michelle, is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the FIRST LADY!!!! No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope - she's humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways. Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us - I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to. Love, Beyonce." (Beyonce)
Earlier this month, Mrs. Obama talked about President Obama relishing her natural beauty.
"Barack tells me I'm at my best when I'm hanging around with the girls --no makeup, in my lazy weekend clothes, just being me." (PEOPLE)
The First Lady is known for showing support to R&B and hip-hop artists alike.
"We had a poetry session and we invited young kids in just last week from all over the country" Mrs. Obama explained in May 2011. "And they talked to some of the most outstanding poets, and they read their poetry in the state room. And then we had a poetry night and Common was there. He's very cute. But everybody from poet laureates to hip-hop folks, being able to mix up the world in that very interesting way, The White House allows you to do that." (RapFix)
