SOHH Whatcha Think: B.G. Sentencing Pushed Back + Watch The Throne 2 Confirmed

Former Cash Money rapper B.G. will have to wait a little while longer to learn his fate as his federal court sentencing was recently pushed back to June.

The rapper, who experienced a brief run in the mainstream during the late 90s, is facing up to a decade behind bars.

The federal court sentencing of a local hip-hop star convicted on weapon and witness tampering charges has been postponed to next month. Christopher Dorsey, 31, of St. Rose, who raps under the moniker B.G., or Baby Gangsta, and was a member of the rap supergroup the Hot Boys, is facing roughly eight to 10 years in prison, according to sentencing recommendations made by probation officers. Prosecutors with U.S. Attorney Jim Letten's office have sought a longer prison stint.(Nola.com

Gizzle was busted on weapons charges nearly 3 years ago along with two others while riding in a stolen vehicle.

Dorsey was arrested with two other men in November 2009 for allegedly possessing three weapons, along with loaded magazines and two extended clips, while driving in eastern New Orleans. New Orleans police said two of the three guns had been reported stolen and the car itself had been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot.(Nola.com)

In a recent interview with Quiet Lunch, Dean announced that Hov and Ye will be working on a new project together at some point. He did explain, however, that while the duo plan on joining forces again, they have yet to begin working on any new material together.(HHDX)

Dean added that although Jay and Yeezy have not officially begun recording for the album's sequel, he is definitely slated to bring his skills to the project.

"I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album of course, " he explained. "[I'm working on] Watch the Throne 2, which is not started yet, but that's coming."(Quiet Lunch Magazine)
