G-Unit leader 50 Cent has finally opened up on what really went down earlier in the week when he was hospitalized and said despite getting shot in the past, he nearly died from bad food.
According to 50, some bad food he ate overseas led to the publicized hospital stay.
"I ate something in London that wasn't right with me," 50 said in an interview with Funkmaster Flex. "It's the first time I ever got sick like that. When I went to the hospital, they was talking about I got a blockage in my small intestine." (Hot 97)
In a separate interview, the platinum-selling rapper revealed rap star Eminem's words of wisdom.
"I'm in a dead serious moment like, 'D*mn, I don't believe this is happenin' right now,' " Fif said recalling the moments before Slim Shady phoned him. "He goes, 'Yo Fif, you were shot nine times man if you die over a burger, this sh-- ain't gonna go right. People ain't gonna be feelin' this.'" (RapFix)
Earlier in the week, Atlanta's DJ Drama hinted at Fif's stomach-related issue.
Although 50 didn't disclose his ailment, DJ Drama confirmed to XXLMag.com that 'Fif was suffering from a "stomach virus." "First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he's not a quiet guy," said Drama about 50, who is collaborating with Dram to put out his The Lost Tape gangsta grillz mixtape on May 22. "He should be cool. It's nothing that serious. We still gonna do our promo run stuff [Thursday]." (XXL Mag)
Fif used his Twitter account to update fans with tweets and hospital photos.
