While their speculated beef ended shortly after it began, former Flipmode Squad member Rah Digga opened up on her Tyler, the Creator jabs over the weekend.
For Digga, Tyler's recent disses toward hip-hop pioneer MC Lyte ultimately sparked her furious "N*gga In Me" record.
After addressing Tyler's "Happy Father's Day" tweet in her direction, the back and forth died down. But when Tyler made a disparaging remark about Hip Hop pioneer MC Lyte, it was the last straw. "When I caught wind of what was going on with MC Lyte, I was like 'come on man.' She's not going to come out swinging. Pick on somebody that's going to give you a run for your money. Everybody excuses it like he's a crazy little kid. Kids gotta be accountable for their actions." With the hot 16 now in the history books of rap, Digga says the incident is behind her. And Tyler may not have lost his "only black fan" after all. "At the end of the day, this is Hip Hop. It's no beef. It's not when I see you my goons are going to get you. I'm about to go watch him perform, like stage left, Wolf Gang, what's good? There's no beef. Somebody poked fun in their music and I poked fun back." (The Well Versed)
Last week, Tyler said he did not regret tagging Lyte as a lesbian in one of his recent records.
"I don't know if she's gay or not," Tyler said referring to Lyte. "It was a joke. But if she took offense, so be it -- I'm not gonna apologize, but I didn't mean for her feelings to get hurt. Usually people in that position, you'd think they would laugh it off and go on with their day. But I guess she caught feelings. I didn't mean to do that, but whatever." (Drama Like The DJ)
Yesterday, Digga revealed she is on good terms with Tyler.
"@deshaung The facts are...he clowned me b4...I clowned back...I'm stage right DOLO waitin to see them perform its NUTHIN #PAIDDUES2012"
"Awwww look at lil Ty-Ty and Auntie Digga #PAIDDUES2012 RT @fucktyler: AND I TOOK A PHOTO WITH RAH DIGGA AYYYE http://lockerz.com/s/199741686" (Rah Digga's Twitter)
A few days ago, the rap veteran went at Tyler on "N*gga In Me."
Tyler, the Creator caught the wrath of Rah Digga by saying Happy Father's Day to her over and over again on Twitter. So she took it another level with thes vitriolic lines: "I was trying to support this young black man / It's too bad, you probably lost your only black fan," she snarls. "Take it any further, and you might catch a backhand, b*tch." (International Business Times)
