Young Money star Nicki Minaj may have had enough with the rap game after recently admitting a lack of appreciation from the public has her thinking about post-music plans.

Speaking in the third person, Minaj hinted at a possible rap departure.

"People aren't even giving the kid props for taking it back to the essence... this is my fourth mixtape really," said Minaj, referring to her latest LP, Pink Friday ... Roman Reloaded. "You know what I'm saying. The kid did like that so she could feed her fans. But really, now the kid is thinking maybe she should leave the game." "They ungrateful," Nicki's right-hand man Safaree chimed in. "They ungrateful in these streets." (XXL Mag)

She has already detailed a disinterest in returning to Twitter after leaving 11 million followers in the dust last weekend.

"Do you," she asked radio host Tim Westwood when he professed how much fans miss her on Twitter. "I know. [laughs, reads statement from Westwood] 'Nicki Minaj, please come back to Twitter. We love you and it isn't the same without you. Do it for the Barbz and Kens and everyone who loves to wear pink on a Friday. Give me life.' ... [Am I going to come back?] No. Tim, I can't. I miss my Barbz. [They miss me,] but I can't come back. I just can't Tim, don't make me, please don't. Let's move on." (Tim Westwood TV)

Her new issues with the fans comes just two weeks after Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded debuted at number one on the national sales chart.

Leading the pack this week is Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded at No. 3 with 81,000 behind Adele's 21 (91,700) and Lionel Richie's Tuskegee (128,600). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Minaj's sophomore LP has sold 334,700 records after two weeks in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

In lighter news, she recently discussed her eye-catching "Beez in the Trap" music video.

"When I was doing my mixtapes, I would perform in strip clubs, I would perform in clubs and it was just like some of my most die-hard fans would be in these places," Nicki said in an interview. "I wanted to kinda like honor them -- kinda honor all my girls in the club and just say thank you for the support." The Benny Boom-directed clip, which was released Friday, follows Nicki as she struts through the nudie bar counting hundreds and working her money-maker in some very flattering outfits. In one scene, Ms. Minaj sports a leopard-print catsuit and shakes her tail feather alongside "Beez in the Trap" guest 2 Chainz. "When I see the strippers and all of that, they always show me love, so I wanted to kinda make a video around them," the reigning rap queen said. "I hit up Benny Boom like, 'Yo, I need a sexy video right now.' I knew 2 Chainz wasn't gonna be mad." (MTV)
