Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy has an obsessed fan in 30 year-old Quamine Taylor as reports claim he was recently arrested after sneaking into the music mogul's East Hampton home.
Details on the unusual arrest landed online early Friday (April 13).
Quamine Taylor, 30, of Jamaica, Queens, gave "bad boy" a whole new meaning when he found an unlocked basement door and made himself at home for nearly 24 hours in the sprawling mansion. Combs, whose hits include, "Coming Home" and "I'll Be Missing You," was away at the time. Taylor made himself at home as he canvassed the closets, but his 6-foot-5 frame couldn't fit into Diddy's shirts. He then raided the refrigerator and dented the Ciroc spokesman's liquor supply. The fantasy nearly folded when Taylor set off an alarm at 1 a.m. But the suave squatter managed to convince an arriving alarm-company representative and a police officer that he was a member of the Combs clan, and was allowed to remain in the home. After a restful evening, Taylor's dream finally came crashing down when a caretaker found him at 4 p.m. on April Fools' Day and called the cops. (New York Post)
According to Taylor, this is not the first time he got comfy at Diddy's crib.
"I've actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001," Taylor told The Post yesterday at the Suffolk County Jail. "I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there," Taylor said. In his first break-in, Taylor tried to pass himself off as Combs' cousin when cops found him intoxicated after he took a dip in Combs' pool. (New York Post)
Back in December 2010, two men were arrested for breaking into rap star 50 Cent's Connecticut mansion.
19 year-old Alexander Hernandez was wanted by New Britain police in connection with a double shooting that injured two men at a Main Street, New Britain multi-family house in October. He was turned over to New Britain police to face a warrant for attempted murder and first-degree assault after he was charged by Farmington police with burglary and criminal trespass. One of the criminal's relatives vouched for him in relation to invading 50's home Tuesday (December 21) morning.
The guys who were arrested inside 50 Cent's Connecticut mega-mansion weren't trying to steal anything -- they just wanted to get hammered in the lap of luxury ... at least that's what they're telling people. TMZ spoke with the sister of Alexander Hernandez -- the guy who was found drinking wine in Fiddy's closet when cops arrived -- who tells us Alexander is claiming he and the other suspect just wanted to "hang out" at 50's place because they're both huge fans. She adds ... Hernandez is claiming he never tried to steal anything from inside the house -- they only wanted the "thrill" of getting inside. (TMZ)
