April Fool's Day leaves the web wide open to all sorts of crazy stories. Sh*t, even we had fun with a story about Nas fleeing the country to avoid tax woes, which, by the way was totally a joke. But yo, y'all buying this 50 Cent marriage story?

According a story that reportedly hit the way a day before April Fool's, the kid Fiddy popped the question to his model boo.

Rapper 50 Cent reportedly proposed to his model girlfriend Daphne Joy on March 31, 2012, but it isn't clear whether he was serious about it. After all, rumors that he was engaged to Ciara in 2008, and again in 2009, were both untrue. In addition, a report that he and Gayle King were engaged in 2011 was nothing more than a bad joke.(Examiner)

Adding fuel to the fire were tweets from Daphne Joy, 50's girlfriend.

According to, 50 Cent may have proposed, but he didn't put a ring on it. In the meantime his girlfriend, or fiancee, posted several interesting comments on Twitter following the possible proposal. One message said, "He wanna [sic] put his name on it," while another said, "Ok [sic] I jus [sic] got #TOTALLYexcited DUDE!! [expletive deleted] YES lol."Shortly before dating 50 Cent, the lovely Daphne Joy was engaged to comedian DeRay Davis. Daphne Joy and Davis dated for years before 50 Cent allegedly stole her away from the comedian.(Examiner)

SOHH Watcha Think: Is this one of many April Fool's Jokes or did Fif really pop the question?

In other news ... K Dot and Dr. Dre recently hit the world over the head with a new banger. Can't front: I been hearing about them cooking up some heat for a minute and now they've finally released it. Check out the aptly titled track "The Recipe" below and let us know how you like it!
