West Coast rapper The Game recently explalned the motivation behind putting a stop to a California concert  in order to tend to a fan who passed out during his performance.

Game said a genuine love for his fans' well-being forced him to stop his show and check on the concertgoer.

RumorFix caught up with the often controversial hip-hop star at a hot dog cart in Los Angeles and asked him about the incident. "You know I love my fans, man. They're good people. I don't know what could have happened to dude. He could have passed out. He could of died from something - that's why I stopped," he explained. As for the praise he's received for his actions, he adds, "It ain't nothing; it's real small. So you know, you just stop the concert and help the guy out." (RumorFix)

Footage of Game's heroic antics emerged across the Internet last weekend.

The Game is a changed man -- just 4 months after stopping a concert to fight a guy in the crowd ... the rapper stopped a concert to SAVE someone ... and TMZ has the footage. It all went down on March 18th -- The Game was in the middle of his performance at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA ... when a concertgoer passed out in the crowd. Game immediately jumped into action -- slamming the brakes on the show to make sure the kid was okay. The footage is pretty intense -- the kid comes to for a quick moment ... asking for water ... then falls limp AGAIN, passing out cold for the second time. Several other concertgoers rushed to the guy's aid -- but before long, he had regained consciousness again ... this time for good ... and the show went on. Check out the clip -- Game offers one possible cure for the kid's condition, but we REALLY don't recommend it ... (TMZ)

The rapper caught heat last month after he allegedly spit in the face of a female clubgoer in Australia.

He gets up and approaches the girls, before lurching forward and spitting towards them. When the camera pans over to the crowd, a girl who has apparently been spat on yells "how dare you" and storms out of the nightclub along with her friends. Brydie McCreadie, 19, who filmed the video at the club on February 16 and sent it to ninemsn, said she was "disgusted" by the rapper's behaviour. "I was like, 'whoa'. At first I wasn't sure if he was spitting at me," she said. Ms McCreadie, from Southport, said she did not hear the girl next to her say anything to provoke The Game into spitting. "He was sitting there drinking. We were all a bit drunk. I think they were just excited to see him," she said. After the spit The Game is seen taking off his gold chain and passing it to members of his crew on stage. "I think he was about to start a fight or look tough," Ms McCreadie said. (Nine MSN)

He later came forward to defend his image and denounce the spitting accusations.

"We go to the after-party and here are these same two people," the Interscope signee said. "They by the VIP [area], kind of doing the heckling sh*t, and throwing sh*t, throwing Red Bull cans. But ain't none of it hitting me. The dude starts spitting loogies and drinking shit and spitting it. The shit started getting closer and closer to where we was at. He keeps spittin' and finally, the f*ckin' sh*t hit me. So I went over and I f*ckin' spit." (XXL Mag)
