Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy is making sure fans get an up close and personal look at his recent trip out to France with a new short film entitled Paris Is Burning.
According to reports, the film will showcase what all went down when he invaded Paris Fashion Week last month.
Diddy takes us for one hell of a ride in his upcoming Julien Bachelet-directed short film, Paris Is Burning. The piece documents his recent stay in France for Paris Fashion Week. In this short trailer, Sean Combs gives us a preview of the flashy life as he causes pandemonium in the streets of Paris, rubs shoulders with designer Marc Jacobs, sits front row on the catwalk with Cassie, and taking in the town's nightlife. It isn't a Diddy visual without a little stunting as he goes watch shopping with a visit to Rolex. (Miss Info)
In early March, Puffy along with a slew of other celebrities, peeped rap star Kanye West's Paris Fashion Week showcase.
Ms. Kardashian was sitting in the front row at Mr. West's late-night showing at Paris Fashion Week, along with Alicia Keys, Sean Combs, Common and Azealia Banks, so maybe that gives some idea of the target customer he has in mind for a collection that seemed desperately trying to project both an aura of coolness and easy availability. Not that Mr. West was saying. (New York Times)
During the trip, Diddy and former Bad Boy artist Shyne officially reunited.
"You can't overstate the cultural significance of what Shyne and Diddy reconciling means," Shyne wrote. "You know I'm about it when it comes to them hammers, thus unfortunately this could have ended like Tupac and B.I.G. But what if Tupac and B.I.G ended like this and reconciled? Let's celebrate this moment as a historical event and a victory for hip-hop and Afro and Latin American men trained to exterminate each other. It's a new day! L'chaim!!!" (XXL Mag)
Puffy's R&B protege and girlfriend, Cassie, also got a chance to meet Shyne face-to-face while out there.
"He is one of the nicest people, just like Rick Ross, and down-to-earth," Cassie said when asked about meeting Shyne during Paris Fashion Week. "I like when people have very little words when they speak. When they say something, it means something. They're not just talking to hear themselves talk." (BBC Radio 1Xtra)
