[SOHH highlights a hot record each week and offers a unique look at the track in Singled Out. After rap newcomer Driicky Graham discusses his new track "Snapbacks and Tattoos," a few members of the emerging Austin group League of Extraordinary Gz discuss taking their music to the "Next Level" in the weeks following SXSW.]

Lil Bully: How the song came together, was me just in the studio actually writing to a different song that's about to come out. We were in the studio and S. Dot just popped up with a bunch of beats and came with half the hook. The beat just makes you feel like you're rockin' with the best ever.

We just fed off of each other and turned it from just a dope song to something on the next level. Some songs, you gotta listen to it a few times before you can f*ck with it, "Next Level" is a song where the first time you hear it, you're gonna be like, "Oh sh*t." It was pretty much a unanimous decision on that song.

Mr. Greezo: After losing our brother, SB da 6th Street Bully, rest in peace, that song kinda kick-started us to wanna take this sh*t to the next level. It was a period of mourning, and we'll always mourn, but that was kind of like the song that made us get back on the ball.

We're brothers. So creatively, if you're doing something f*cked up, n*ggas gonna tell you. But this one really just came together. But if it didn't no one has a problem telling another person, "I don't like that" or "Change that." We respect each others talent.

Lil Bully: We got a nice music scene out here in Austin. It's not a big market like Houston or Dallas, so we don't have the major outlets here in the city, but at the same time the talent is here. If you really wanna get into it, alotta the Houston sound back in the 90's was made by Austin producers and there are alot of Austin artists out here that've been putting it down for a long time.

The LOEGz is a collective from Austin, comprised of 3 popular groups from the city. They have a very unlikely look and sound, that has been garnering attention around the country from new fans of all ages and backgrounds. To date, the group has been selected to tour with Dead Prez and Jackie Chain. They've opened for everyone from Whiz Khalifa to Method Man, and selected to perform at major festivals including SXSW, NXNE, A3C, and CMJ. The accomplished group has a loyal following to their credit perform consistently in various markets throughout the US.
