Six time Grammy-award winning singer Rihanna recently opened up on her dating life and how being a young bachelorette is far from the hype it appears to be.
While speaking with British entertainment personality Jonathan Ross, Rihannaadmitted that a cool and fun man would meet her needs.
"I'm not looking, [but] I would not tell you that [being single] is something to enjoy. Single life is just so overrated. It sucks. You always want to be single when you're in a relationship, but it's no bueno," she tells Ross. As for why the beautiful pop star wants to find a man sooner rather than later, Rihanna reveals, "I think that I have such incredible experiences that, you don't want to live your life and meet someone; you want to share your life with someone. That's what I'm missing right now." Rihanna's list of things she's looking for in a man isn't a long one; in fact, it's quite simple: "I'd love to date someone cool, fun ... funny." (RumorFix)
Last fall, YMCMB's Drake gushed about out his brief affair with the Bajan Beauty.
"I guess I thought it was more [with me and RiRi]. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you're at some birthday party and there she is. And you're just some naive kid from Toronto staying in some sh--ty-a** hotel who got invited to this party on a whim. That's just how it happened." (Elle Magazine)
In 2011, RiRi jokingly unveiled her attraction towards women.
Hollywood TV caught up with Rihanna the other night in LA and asked her about the rumors that she's dating actor Ryan Phillipe. She jokingly responded, "No, I hate to burst your bubble but I'm dating girls". When asked if the "girl" in question was Nicki Minaj, she responded ""I wish! Her butt is perfect." Good comeback. After cutting ties with R&B singer Chris Brown in 2009, The Roc-Nation princess hooked up with MLB Baseball star Matt Kemp for a brief stint.
"I have a boyfriend. I'm so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it's so easy," Rihanna gushes in the latest issue of Elle magazine. "I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family ... A year ago, I was very confused. Because he was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives -- not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I wanted to be with him again or get over him -- it was either-or. I just didn't want to feel the pain, the confusion." (MTV)
