The violence in hip hop needs to stop, over the past several weeks, artists like Young Buck, Nipsey Hussle and Tyga have had their shows associated with acts of violence. Now, an aspiring Philly artist has been killed and police and family members are looking for answers.
The unnamed rapper was killed in his own neighborhood.
A 33-year-old up and coming rapper was shot to death while shooting a video in his own Philadelphia neighborhood. The shooting occurred in the Olney section of Philadelphia, where the as yet unidentified man was shot in the head and then ran over. The video was being recorded near the security cameras of a restaurant, which apparently captured the violent and deadly incident. According to ABC 6 News, there was a crowd so large at the corner of 5th Street and Tabor Road during the rap video taping, undercover Philadelphia police officers were watching over it. That's when they saw a 33-year-old man being gunned down in the street. Police say more than 100 people were gathered for the recording when around 7:00 p.m. shots rang out striking the victim.(Global Grind)
To make things worse, the rapper, already shot in the head, was later run over by a vehicle.
In the melee, a car accidentally ran over the victim who had been shot in the head, he was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The officers who were on the scene grabbed potential suspects, three of whom had guns on them.(Global Grind)

In other news, Kim Kardashian got caught up in a little moment while on the red carpet last night, after some activist thug ran up on her with
the chopper a bag of flour and ruined her outfit. That's gangsta.
PETA -- the most obvious suspect in the Kim Kardashian flour bomb attack -- is adamant the organization is NOT behind the red carpet stunt ... but it's VERY SUPPORTIVE of the attacker. A rep for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals tells TMZ ... "It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene."(TMZ)
PETA went on to add that they have been trying to get Kim to stop wearing real fur garments for years.
Still, a rep for the organization explains, "PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not." As we previously reported, Kim was flour bombed on the red carpet of a Hollywood event last night ... while the mystery attacker lady shouted, "Fur Hag!"(TMZ)
SOHH Watcha Think: Is public humiliation right if it saves thousands of defenseless animals? Peep the video for yourself below. Kim looks pissed and confused.
