[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Just Blaze shared the title with Lloyd Banks and DJ Khalil earlier this week, rapper John Regan crowns rap veteran Copywrite SOHH Underrated.]

Copywrite (SOHH Underrated)

Naming someone who doesn't get as much shine as they should, I want to say somebody but he's kind of really well-known, so he's not really SOHH Underrated. Shout-outs to my boy Copywrite. He dropped his album around the same time I dropped mine and he's been doing his thing for a minute.

He's a really talented dude so I've kind of been following him with his whole entire career. I think that's a dude who should get a little bit more attention than he deserves. Copywrite.

I've been rocking with Copy since The High Exhaulted. I'm not sure exactly when it dropped but I think it was around the early 2000's. He's been doing his thing for a minute and he's been doing stuff to this day.

I have a lot of respect for him when you look at all of the longevity he has and how hard he's been going at it. I believe he's from Ohio. I've been messing with him for quite a few years now.

John Regan has been working with Culture VI Records founder and manager Wil Loesel since the age of 15. He is a husband, father and President of Culture VI Records. He played a role in coordinating collaborations with Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9" and Wordsworth on the label's 2008 release "ninety-four."
