Sales Wrap: Seal & Drake Lead The Way, Young Jeezy Loses Top 10 Status, K'Naan Invades The Chart

In this week's Sales Wrap, Seal and Drake lead the pack, Young Jeezy loses his spot in the Top 10 and rapper K'Naan invades the chart.

Singer Seal leads the way this week with his new Soul 2 album debuting at No. 8 behind Kellie Pickle's 100 Proof (27,400), Kid Bop 21 (33,200), Ingrid Michaelson's Human Again (39,600), 2012 Grammy Nominees (52,200), Lamb of God's Resolution (52,500), Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic (67,500) and Adele's 21 (116,000). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Seal's latest offering has sold 27,200 units after seven days in stores.

Young Money star Drake's Take Care dropped five slots to No. 9 with 26,500. With 11 weeks in the books, his sophomore album has sold 1,376,300 records.

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Talk That Talk fell 11 slots to No. 16 with 18,800. Moving into her 11th week, RiRi's new LP stands at 602,200 sold records.

Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition also fell 11 slots to No. 17 with 17,500. With six weeks in the books, Jeezy's new album has sold 387,800 copies.

Rap duo LMFAO's Sorry For Party Rocking moved down five positions to No. 18 with 16,800. Headed into their 33rd week, their newest album has sold 598,800 records.

R&B veteran Mary J. Blige's My Life II...The Journey Continues slipped two notches to No. 25 with 14,400. With ten weeks under her belt, the new LP has pushed out 453,700 pieces.

Grammy-winning rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne fell nine slots to No. 30 with 12,100. With 25 weeks knocked out, the duo's joint effort now stands at 1,285,300 sold records.

Young Money leader Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV moved down eight slots to No. 38 with 10,300. After 22 weeks, Weezy's summer anthem has sold 1,967,500 pieces.

Late singer Amy Winehouse's Lioness: Hidden Treasures dropped 14 spots to No. 46 with 8,800. After two weeks of availability, the posthumous release has sold 327,700 copies.

Evening out Top 50 is Beyonce's 4 which fell eight positions to No. 49 with 8,500. With 31 weeks knocked out, the singer's latest solo offering has sold 1,097,500 records.

Rapper K'Naan's More Beautiful Than Silence debuted on the chart this week at No. 172. After seven days in stores, the record has pushed out 2,500 copies.
