Love is a helluva drug. Ask Anger Management poster boy Chris Brown: Homie beat the face, beat the case and now, according to reports, may be set to record a track with former flame Rihanna. Yo -- this chick ain't got no older brothers? A young uncle or overprotective cousin, nothin'? That sh*t ain't ordinary.
Well, people change. Everyone makes mistakes. Maybe this time will be different. D*mn, shorty even got me soundin' like a battered wife over this sh*t. Cray. Anyhow, be on the lookout for a possible duet from the pair coming soon.
They may have performed separately at the 'Grammy Awards' this week - but are Rihanna and Chris Brown secretly hooking-up in the studio? Just days after RiRi's co-producers Da Internz told MTV News that the guest featured on her new remix 'Birthday Cake' will "shock the world," rumours are running rife that the mystery collaborator is in fact her ex! According to MissInfo.tv, the RnB star, who was charged with assaulting the Bajan beauty in 2009, sings on the track and will even appear in the music video.(MTV News)
There were even reports that they celebrated RiRi's pre-birthday party together.
Hol' up -- f*ck is a "pre-birthday" party? That's just a f*ckin' party, keep it trill.
And while we'll have to wait and see if their rumoured musical reunion actually happens, it seems the former couple just can't stay away from one another! According to the Daily Mirror, newly blonde pop princess invited Breezy, along with her showbiz pals Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, to her pre-birthday party in Beverly Hills. "RiRi made sure Chris was having a good time but then he kept a low profile, spending most of the night in a corner with a few pals," a source told the Daily Mirror.(MTV News)
In other news ... MTV's Hottest MC of 2011 list is around the corner, and rapper Big Sean recently shared some of his picks.
Sean said Roc Nation spitter deserved a spot on the often contested list.
"I really thought J. Cole should've been on there," continued Sean. "I don't know if they're gonna put him on there...just for the good year he had, and he's a good lyricist." "It's funny how it all works out," added Sean, who recalled performing with his peer J. Cole. "I remember doing a show with Cole, and there was like thirty people in the crowd, and I went on before him. It was just like, so long ago." "It's come a long way for all of us." Big Sean also went on to predict who he thinks will be number one on the list. "I could see [Rick] Ross be number one, I could see [Kanye] be number one. I could see...Jay, yeah, I could see that.">em>(Hip Hop DX)
Earlier this week, Schoolboy Q told SOHH his thoughts on the hottest rapper of 2011.
"Kendrick Lamar and I'd [also] have to say Rick Ross. His presence was huge and it's almost like he built an empire, dropped an album and put his team on, all in a year. Wale dropped his album with Maybach and did some good numbers, man. Then of course, you got Meek Mill up next."(SOHH)(SOHH)
