[SOHH highlights a hot single each week and offers a unique look at the record. After R&B newcomer CJ Hilton explained his "Cold Summer.," Maino discusses his track featuring T.I. and Meek Mill.]
Maino:That's a hard record, it's for my core, you know what I mean? We have the Rick Ross sample on that.
The original one had me and Lil Wayne on it. It's just a hot record, it's not so much of a conceptual song its just a hot street record that caters to my core.
One of the reasons I chose T.I. and Meek for this song is the fact that we have great relationships and another is because they both dope, so why not.
Sef Millz: Puttin' Meek on it and T.I. on it gives people a bit of everything. We picked up the South with T.I. and Philly with Meek so it's giving the record a whole lot more coverage than the original with Lil Wayne.
The energy is crazy. Everybody I talk to is loving it, I'm hearing it all over. I'm in Atlanta so I'm hearing it a lot out here.
