Brooklyn rapper Lil Kim is keeping the Internet in a state of bliss by releasing a new Valentine's Day-themed record entitled "If You Love Me".
The new record dropped late Valentine's Day and showcases the Queen Bee's utilizing auto-tune.
"If you loved me, you would let the world know it / say it out your mouth, but I would rather your heart show it / Actions speak louder than words / This was God's work, but you couldn't see / God blessed you when he sent you to me." - Lil Kim. Joining in on the barrage of material that we met with yesterday on Valentine's day, The Queen Bee alias Lil Kim dropped off a brand new track entitled "If You Love Me". The auto tune heavy cut is apparently an answer back to Maino's "I Still Love You" track that was released last year. (Soul Culture UK)
Kim also hopped on Twitter to boast about the record and thank fans for their support.
"Hey Guys!!! I just wanted to give a special gift from me to you!!! This is 4 always supporting me & showing LOVE... http://fb.me/XyeXN2sm," she tweeted February 14th.
"Every1 follow 1 of my producers & of If U Love Me. The hottest up coming producer @princesaheb. Thank u for the heat! Happy Valentine's Day!" (Lil Kim's Twitter)
She is also expected to premiere some new music tonight (February 15).
Lil' Kim has a busy week ahead. The Queen Bee is scheduled to premiere a new record and appear on live television. The Brooklyn diva will be a guest on Bravo's talk show "Watch What Happens Live" this Wednesday at 11 p.m. She will sit down with host Andy Cohen and preview part of a new song during the live program. The full track will go on sale later in the week. Kim, pictured above at a party she hosted in Florida over the weekend, announced plans to release an EP for her fans late last year, but it has yet to materialize. (Rap-Up)
A few weeks ago, Kim was spotted showing support for Floyd Mayweather, Jr. following a court hearing.
A judge agreed Friday to postpone a jail sentence against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a Las Vegas domestic violence case, allowing the undefeated boxer to make a Cinco de Mayo fight against an as-yet unnamed opponent. The ruling by Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa to allow Mayweather to begin his 90-day stint on June 1 came with the fighter's manger and supporters, including rap star Lil' Kim and R&B artist Ray J, in the courtroom as a defence lawyer cited the economic boost that Las Vegas could get from the bout.
