G.O.O.D. Music's Kid Cudi has decided to once again unplug from popular social networking website Twitter and focus solely on his upcoming WZRD album, dropping later this month.

While he did not reveal when fans can anticipate a return, Cudder simply gave followers a digital goodbye heading into the weekend.

"Going away for awhile. For WZRD updates follow @DotDaGenius or visit http://wzrd.co.uk Thanx guys. love," he tweeted February 3rd.
"Since y'all won't hear from me, I hope you all like the album when it comes out Feb 28th. I really worked hard to do my best. Thank You" (Kid Cudi's Twitter)

Three years ago, Cudi also stepped away from his Twitter page.

In a not so surprising turn of events, Kid Cudi has announced that he has decided to step away from Twitter... Again! The G.O.O.D. Music artist who first walked away from the social networking site (for two years) back in 2009, citing a desire for more privacy. Giving no indication as to the reasons why he was stepping away or when he was due to return the Ohio bred emcee parted ways with his 389,000+ Twitter followers. (Soul Culture)

In 2009, the rapper vowed to never make a return to social media sites like Twitter.

"what up yall? Ive been hearing theres a lot of fake kid cudi accounts on twitter and facebook and i want to reassure everyone that none of these r me. i will NEVER get back on twitter or facebook. im gettin my blog back together and that will be the only way to stay connected with me. i think its sad as a m*thafucka people do this but, oh well, its inevitable. dont fall for it, if datnewcudi.com or kidcudi.com doesnt make a announcement (and i assure you they wont) then its some creeper lookin for attention. catch me on tour baybayyyyy. peace n love" (Dat New Cudi)

Cudi also previously opened up about why he had a lack of interest in social networking.

"I have an iPhone and I don't even utilize all of the applications on it," Cudi explained. "Just alone on an iPhone you can have multiple e-mails -- I have two e-mails -- text messaging, some people have AIM on there, MySpace, Facebook -- and I don't even have those things...With Twitter, my two e-mails, text messaging, and my phone ringing, that's just overwhelming. And you gotta think of it like this, what did they do before there were cell phones? Use a pay phone or write a letter. Or you catch 'em at the crib....I think I want to take it back to that. Sometimes it just shouldn't be that easy for you to get in contact with me." (Rap-Up)

Kid Cudi's WZRD album is slated to hit stores Tuesday, February 28th.
