Music couple Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles-Carter are back to their public outings around the Big Apple after getting spotted at Madison Square Garden to watch the New Jersey Nets take on the headline-generating New York Knicks last night (February 20).

Despite welcoming their newborn daughter into the world last month, Jay and Bey were off baby duties Monday evening.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z wanted to witness Linsanity up close. Blue Ivy Carter's parents took some time off from diaper duty for date night at Madison Square Garden on Presidents Day. The couple cozied up courtside at the Knicks vs. Nets game to watch Jay's team take on (and defeat) the NBA's newest star Jeremy Lin and his team. The new mom--radiant in a yellow blazer and dark denim--happily signed an autograph for a young fan before returning home to her month-and-a-half-old baby. (Rap-Up)

The couple reportedly skipped out on the 54th annual Grammy Awards a couple weeks ago for a special date in Brooklyn.

Where were Beyonce and Jay-Z on Grammys Sunday? On a pizza date in Brooklyn! Although Jay-Z was nominated at Sunday's 54th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, he and wife Beyonce sat out the proceedings attended by peers like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Adele and others. Instead, Beyonce, 30, and Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter), 42, took a Maybach from their home in downtown Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood to the cute Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn -- where they tucked into pizza at their favorite posh pizzeria Lucali. Earlier in the month, Jay and Bey released photos of their newborn daughter.

Rapper Jay-Z and wife Beyonce unveiled highly-anticipated pictures of their new baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Friday, opting to post intimate family shots on social networking site Tumblr rather than selling them to the highest bidder. The couple posted five photos which show the newborn, already sporting a head of long black hair, being cuddled by her proud parents and capturing intimate moments of family life. (Reuters)

Although Bey may not always be seen with her daughter, the singer's longtime manicurist recently said Blue Ivy Carter is inspiring her lifestyle decisions.

She's taken two nights off from new mommyhood this week to support hubby Jay-Z, but Beyoncé needn't look further than her fingernails to be reminded of the new girl running the world these days: daughter Blue Ivy Carter. "You see the blue nails. You see the IV tattoo on her finger. It's clear that she was bringing Blue along with her because she doesn't want to be away from her for a second," Beyoncé's longtime manicurist, Lisa Logan, tells PEOPLE of her Monday manicure. So how is the newly manicured mom adjusting to motherhood? "Amazingly," Logan says. "When I see her, I'm like, 'Girl, you're glowing.' She's so elated. Motherhood is written all over her face. She's owning it and wearing it well." (PEOPLE)
