West Coast rapper Game and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton briefly went at each other's heads late Sunday (February 19) night over Twitter trending topic, "fag swag."

Unleashing a fury of tweets deemed to showcase "fag swag," Game did not hold back on his remarks.

"If you look any other way but straight while you pissin' you got that #FagSwag," he tweeted Sunday.
"If you cried when the ship sank in Titanic... You got that #FagSwag"
"@PerezHilton this is comedy.... Stop gettin ya panties all inna bunch... That's #FagSwag" (Game's Twitter)

The tweets prompted Hilton to step forward and publicly scold Game.

"@thegame It's disheartening to see hateful and homophobic messages like the ones you've been Tweeting. #AspireToGreatness!," he tweeted.
"Fighting for equality. Thinking we are all the same. That's the #RealFagSwag! RISE ABOVE ignorance and hate!"
"@thegame I don't wear panties. I'm not a woman. I'm a man who is discriminated against by people because of how I was born." (Perez Hilton's Twitter)

Game continued to lash back, reminding Hilton he was merely attempting humor.

'@PerezHilton i would say i feel you but i can't cuz that's that #FagSwag"
"@PerezHilton it's just comedy champ. Stand up for what you believe in. Trust me... I'm definitely not standin in ya way lol" (Game's Twitter)

Last September, Game offered his take on homosexuality in hip-hop.

"I think there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay, and see those are the type of gay people that -- the only type of gay people that I have a problem with," Game said in an interview. "I don't have a problem with gay people. Like, Beyonce should've said, 'Who run the world? Gays,' because they're everywhere and rightfully so. Do you. It's a free country. Be gay, you can do that. Game don't have a problem with gay people....Game has a problem with people that are pretending not to be gay and are gay because the number one issue with that is that you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die and so that in the closet sh*t is real scary. So, we've got to get into the real seriousness of it and it's just not fair to other people -- If you gay, just say you gay. Be gay and be proud." (Hot 107.9)

A few days ago, Harlem rap newcomer A$AP Rocky revealed his strong stance against homophobia.

"I don't give a f*ck about your business," ASAP Rocky said in an interview. "Man, if you're gay we can be friends. If you're straight, we can be friends. I'm not gay, I don't plan on being gay, I don't condone it and I'm not sayin' I'm against it. I really don't give a f*ck and I don't think anyone should care about what another man's preference is... unless he's interested, if you know what I'm sayin' ... Who gives a f*ck? --- I like women. I love women. I'm not going to not be your friend because you like men. As long as you're a great person and, aside from that, y'know, you don't bother me and make me uncomfortable, then let's be friends, dude. It doesn't matter. You don't see people for being gay. People need to leave gay people the f*ck alone. Like, who cares? If you still care about sh*t like that you need to just hang yourself like the rest of them KKK motherf*ckers. For real. Who gives a f*ck?" (Spinner)
