News: Tracy Morgan Collapses At Sundance Film Festival, Rushed To Hospital

Comedian Tracy Morgan is reportedly hospitalized in a Utah medical facility after collapsing at an awards ceremony over the weekend.
Details of the "30 Rock" television star's collapse have emerged online.
Tracy Morgan was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, sources confirm to THR. The 30 Rock actor was attending the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards where he was being honored with the Spotlight Initiative Award on Sunday. After his speech, he was escorted out of the building, where he collapsed and was taken to the hospital. Morgan was take to Park City Medical Center and his current condition in unknown. A spokeswoman for the hospital stated that no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy's system upon medical evaluation. Sources tell THR that during the dinner Morgan seemed out of control, yelling and falling onto the ground. Morgan briefly walked the red carpet before the event, but gave no interviews. A spokeswoman and rep have also confirmed Morgan's hospitalization.
Amy Roberts, a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center, tells TMZ no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy's system upon medical evaluation. Morgan's rep, Lewis Kay, also released a statement saying, "From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention." Kay adds, "He is with his fiancée and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false." (TMZ)
The comedian was reportedly at the Sundance Film Festival promoting a new film.
The outspoken actor and "Saturday Night Live" veteran has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2005 and again in 2006, he was arrested for drunken driving, incidents that he has said convinced him to sober up. He is at Sundance to promote the film "Predisposed," directed by screenwriter Ron Nyswaner, which premieres at the festival on Friday and co-stars Morgan, Jesse Eisenberg and Melissa Leo. Funnyman Tracy Morgan got a kidney transplant recently and his recovery will keep him away from the set of "30 Rock," his representative said Monday. The operation took place around Dec. 10, Entertainment Weekly said on its Web site. "Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery," his spokeswoman, Nicole Chabot said. "He is looking forward to going back to work after the holidays."
