Kinda crazy how Hip Hop grabs people from all walks of life and makes them fans. Even in the world of entertainment, who woulda thought that Disney star Demi Lovato would want to do a collaboration with one of rap's most iconic and elusive figures?

If you don't recognize this Disney star, congrats: You are an adult heterosexual male.

Lovato, who has worked with Missy and Timbo, says working with Eminem would be a dream come true. Personally, I think it would be big for hip hop. And by big I mean devastating.

Demi Lovato is aiming big for her future project. Already collaborating with Timbaland and Missy Elliott in her third studio album "Unbroken", the former Disney star is now eying for a duet with another heavyweight hip-hop artist. "Hopefully, I can work with Eminem," the 19-year-old singer told Marc Malkin during a recent Seventeen luncheon at The Redbury hotel's Cleo restaurant in Hollywood. "He's my favorite rapper so anything with him would be amazing."(Ace Showbiz)

Don't think Fiddy's feelin' the idea, Demi.

In other news ... Roots player and music expert ?uestlove recently revealed his favorite artists and releases of 2011. Now Quest can be an odd dude, so I thought he'd name maybe one artist I recognized, then the rest of his list would be made up of cats he heard while visiting a dungeon overseas. But surprisingly, Q's list has several familiar names on it. Check it out below:

The Roots' ?uestlove recently spoke with the Associated Press, revealing his top five albums of 2011. During the interview, he named The Weeknd, Adele, Wyatt Cenac, The Lonely Island and Jay-Z and Kanye West as putting out some of the best records of the year. "Watch the Throne is one of those records, I told people 'You'll be back in a month and a half,'" he said. "People were like, 'Pf, whatever.' All of a sudden, now, it's like 'Oh, this is my album!'"(Hip Hop DX)

Whatcha think -- Will Em make a Diz-Kid's dream come true, and also, what were your favorite artists and albums of 2011?

Oh. Before you go, check out Jeezy's version of "Shot Caller," from French Montana.
