Kanye West may be a single man, but don't tell that to Chicagoan Linda Resa, who recently had her name legally changed to Mrs. Kanye Resa West.
The new "Mrs.West", who appeared to be completely sober and of sound mind in a recent radio interview, said the name change is her way of displaying her love of the music icon.
Well after some this bird tattooed Drake on her forehead, I'm not surprised by any of this any longer. A Chicago resident, formerly named Linda Resa, who professes her love for Kanye West legally changed her "stage name" recently to Mrs. Kanye Resa West. Well, OK. (Sunday Brunch)
Mrs. West added that, in addition to her new name, she also has one tattoo of the rapper's name running down her arm and another sprawled across her hind parts.
Not only is she in love with Kanye, she has his name tattooed on her arm and her behind. She tells a Chicago radio host that she currently has a feud going (in her mind) with Kim K., but is cool with Amber Rose because she is now with Wiz Khalifa. In response to folks that say she's crazy, she responded, "I say that they don't really know Kanye... Until he says I'm crazy, I'm going to keep on going." .(Sunday Brunch)
Last year, relatively unknown rapper Mingo Baby caught a glimpse of the spotlight after inking "Free Lil' Boosie" across his temple. The tattoo remains as permanent as Boosie's jail sentence, however, as the judge presiding over Boosie's case is unlikely to submit to the demands written on Mingo's face.
Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie has a fan in a fellow MC, Mingo Baby. The indie rhymer, signed to Hoodii Boy Entertainment, showcased his appreciation for the locked up entertainer by inking his face with a Free Lil Boosie tattoo. In a two-minute video clip, Mingo Baby flaunts his jewelry -- a tiny cross chain -- and sips on a bottle of store bought lean -- cough syrup -- while explaining his reasons for getting the surprising facial art over his right eye -- check the photo of it below. "Boosie my motherf---in' n----," he shouts. "I done rocked shows with this n----, man. He one hundred. I love that n----. I love his pain, b... I take the pain away. I ask God to take the pain away. I pray every day. I don't give a f--- what ya'll think, man." (The Boom Box)
Also in 2011, a young woman tattooed Young Money star Drake's nom de plume in a large, letterman jacket font across her forehead, much to the ink job's artist's bemusement.
"The funny thing is, I didn't know who Drake was, I figured it was her hood or some sh*t, not some goofnugget R&B dude," says the tattoo artist responsible for the permanent Drake stamp. "She was really psyched about it. She had the sh*tty font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead. She didn't say a word about what it meant to her, some of the guys at the shop asked her, and she just kinda giggled at them. When I printed up the first image of the lettering, she wanted me to go bigger, so that it went pretty much from each side of her hairline to the other. I thought she shaved her eyebrows for the procedure, so when I put the stencil on the first time, it was right over her (missing) eyebrows, but she had me enlarge it a bit and push it up towards the hairline. But yeah, she acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I'm not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead."
