Cash Money Records CEO Birdman is letting Lil Wayne continue to put together platinum-selling records by revealing Weezy's plans to drop an upcoming I Am Not A Human Being 2 LP and their Like Father, Like Son 2 joint project later this year.
Although he is unsure if Wayne will do a follow-up to 2010's Rebirth album, Birdman said fans should anticipate a new solo album sooner than later.
"Wayne's got an album he's about to drop real soon. Its called I am not a Human Being 2. It's gonna be before the summer for sure. We haven't picked the date yet. Whenever he's ready to drop his album, we're gonna make it do what it do. He's definitely got an album done and ready to go. Wayne works a lot. There's no telling [if Rebirth 2 will happen]. But I know for sure we've got I Am Not A Human Being 2 ready to go. That's the next project." (Complex)
Birdman also said their joint effort would likely hit store shelves next winter.
"We got that finished too. We've been recording that. We never stopped recording [for] that. We got songs we want. When we get ready to drop it, we'll probably do that in the 4th quarter. Wayne wants to do the I Am Not A Human Being 2 and I want to do my solo album too, so we'll probably do that later on." (Complex)
Around mid-January, the Cash Money boss hinted at their collaborative effort's existence.
"Birdman GTVodka No Hangover NoRegrets Neva Ends. Kmin in Feb.," he tweeted January 14th.

Last October, Wayne revealed plans to begin working on his I Am Not A Human Being 2 LP.
"Drake's album Take Care is coming November 15, Nicki [Minaj] is about to start working on her next album -- [Birdman] coming out; I'm Not a Human Being II and Rebirth II is so not important right now -- We got [Lil] Twist coming, we got Tyga Tyga coming, and then we have Shanell coming, then we got Bow Wow -- that's what's really important. What I'm doing is really never important, actually. I'm a very unimportant guy. It's just me." (MTV)
