Video vixen Amber Rose may be head over heels in love with rap star Wiz Khalifa these days, however she has revealed there was initial resistance to date hip-hop artists following a tough 2010 break-up from mega performer Kanye West.

Rose claims trust in Wiz and his loyalty to her ultimately sealed their future together.

Amber almost didn't give Wiz, 24, a chance after being burned by Kanye. Following their rocky relationship, Amber says she grew skeptical of all musicians as boyfriend material. But Wiz "doesn't do as musicians do and deal with all the groupies." Amber reveals "At the end of his shows, he goes straight to the tour bus. He calls me." (Star)

The blonde bombshell also went on to promise a lifelong journey with Wiz.

And she's definitely feeling the love with Wiz. "We want to have babies, and we want to get married - but right now we're both traveling the world and working really, really hard," she explains. "We don't feel like we have to hurry up and get married because we're going to be in love forever." (Star)

In November, Rose killed the hopes of fans thinking she could one-day hook back up with ex-boyfriend Kanye West.

"I will never get back with Kanye, there is no way! I want to be with Wiz for the rest of my life. I never did until I met Wiz. Every relationship I've had, especially being a stripper since I was 15 years old, I never looked at men -- I never thought it would happen for me...I can say whatever I want about Kanye, I can say whatever I want about our relationship. I'm just not into that. I always like to take the high road, very postive person. So whatever happened in our relationship I don't feel the need to write a book or dog him out or anything like that. I just want to keep it moving. ("The Wendy Williams Show")

Around August 2010, West confirmed speculation hinting at his run with Amber ending.

"Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end," West said in an interview with radio host Angie Martinez. "One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her...A celebrity could be talking to people crazy and everyone's used to it at the label like, 'He's wildin' out. It doesn't matter.' [Amber] be like, 'What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I'm not even talking to you right now.' ... I grew from that. I think that was the greatest growth that I got from that experience...My goal in life is to really have an amazing woman and have a family, but I think I had to go through these different things to grow...That was a one-off...I'm not trying to dive into anything unless I really, really think that I can marry this person. I look at this person and I say, 'This is how I want my daughter to be.'" (Hot 97)
