G-Unit's 50 Cent showed his support for the New York Giants last night (January 22) by revealing a $500,000 bet he placed on the hometown team.

According to Fif, he is going to give the game winnings to his grandmother.

"I love the NEW YORK see this is life baby LMAO Man all U had to do was listen I told you were gonna win," he tweeted January 22nd.
"Yo don't give that punk no attention. if I get shot ill only get up again.just watched a 500,000 dollar foot ball game get on my level.Chump"
"Street king baby I'm a king I do this. I'm giving this money to my nana she gonna faint LMAO all she do is go to the church :o)" (50 Cent's Twitter)

50 also posted a photo of himself surrounded by his alleged winnings.

The Giants weren't the only winners this weekend. New York's own 50 Cent bet big on his home team and ended up collecting when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's playoff game to advance to the Super Bowl. The hip-hop tycoon showed off his earnings (rumored to be $500,000) on Twitter, posing with racks on racks of $100 bills. (Rap-Up)

Last year, Cash Money's Birdman placed a million dollar bet on the Super Bowl.

Bryan Williams tells Dallas radio that he's got a "mill ticket" riding on Lil Wayne's preferred contender in tonight's Super Bowl XLV. Last week, Birdman appeared at Dallas, Texas' K104 FM station with DJ Khaled, and hinted that he's got a million dollars riding on tonight's Super Bowl XLV contest. "If you listen to us, you'll feel us," said the former Big Tymers rapper. Continuously repeating the term "mill ticket," the executive-turned-rapper boasted that he and his associates live a life of grandeur. "A mill ticket, man, figure it out." (Hip Hop DX)
